Having the worst of time getting a death defying captain
I have tried so hard Killing captains In many different ways, tried killing large numbers to increase chances but next thing I know I check to see and though I haven't died or advance time new unkowan captains are filling it back up

Ive only seen 3 death defyiers one follower

On nemesis and one minor captain but thats it's and it sucks escpially after killing several captains who have killed me MANY times and yet they don't have a comeback

It just sucks

Death defying as in they get a second chance when you try to kill them? Or as in they come back to life? Death defying is the orc's version of Talion's last chance. However you're describing the cheat death mechanic where the orc comes back to life I think. Well if you imported characters from SoM, the nemesis orc can cheat death potentially. Some orcs have a hidden trait that gives a chance to cheat death. It's not 100% most of the time. Some orcs do have what seems to be 100% and if you kill them enough times they become "The Machine", which is basically a legendary steampunk cyborg. Ologs have something similar where they become a patched up Frankenstein like that raid boss in WoW. If you mean the second chance orcs, just interrogate worms and reveal all the captains and check their traits. The death defying trait should show up in the captain's list of traits if that captain has it.

i too have a hard time getting captains to cheat death, people say letting a captain kill you twice will give a high chance of them cheating death when you kill them, but ive only had that work once were they didnt come back as a legendary such as the machine, or the plague, or the flame of war

I've only had the machine happen early on and the captains that I have killed most have killed me more then twice with horza prison master getting me like 6+ times
Only a few have ever appeared one who was one of my guys who defied death aND saved me the other 2 were 2 toughish captains on olog and one uruk both came back as mental nut cases the uruk died sadly but the olog is a overlord
And ya the olog came back as the white heavily scarred olog your talking about
The issue is so many unknown c captain's spawn after I kill a certain amount even when I haven't ded and it's frustrating as it usually replaces all the dead cap
