Need some help with training orders :O
hey guys i want to get thick skin and great strength (both epic) as training orders but im not sure how to get them fast and with a good chance.. any ideas where you ve good chances to get epic training orders? Another question: if i have a legendary soldier and want to give him these two training orders how do i make sure that i change both of his skills and dont only change one of his epic skills and then change this one again so the second one is still the same?
PLS help :P

(I have done this myself in the past and it has worked, but I know this is probably not a matter of the game somehow granting my wish but simply a matter of pure and luck and co-incidence lol.)

As for ensuring you keep the same abilities/only apply what you want to Legendary Followers, well, the game is good enough to tell you what Skill your Follower will lose in exchange for a new one. So you can pick and choose what your willing to sacrifice when giving your Follower when applying Training Orders to him when mousing over him in the Army section.

So it just becomes a matter of deciding if you're willing to make the sacrifice. And also ensuring the Follower your giving the Training Order too can even use it, since not all Training Orders are applicable to all followers. For example, Olog-Hai can't ride Caragors. Thankfully the game also tells you what Training Orders can or can't be applied as well, and if you try it stops you so you don't lose it for nothing.

Just to flesh that out a little bit... War chests and spoils of war also, which can be earned through online conquests or vendetta missions. Also the Community Challenge usually has some upgrade chest reward, which in my experience tends to have better upgrades/training orders like legendary training and thick skin. Finally you get upgrade/training order chests from online pit fights, but you're risking the death of whatever orc you're putting in the fight and the *vast* majority of the training orders I've gotten from them are non-epic.

On a similar note, I have one particular orc I want to give thick skin to. I've been doing endless online sieges for spoils of war chests and have spent about 200k in mirian on silver war chests. (I don't want to risk this guy by exposing him to the crappy online pit fight AI on the off chance he gets the epic trait I want for him.) I swear they've cut back the incidence of "thick skin" orders. I've gotten 2 legendary training orders and about 5 great strength, not a single "thick skin" order. My ratio previously was about 2 thick skin orders for every legendary training order I came across.

How to update an orc with thick skinned AND great strength:
1.) Give your f.e.normal berserker orc a poison weapon
2.) Give him temporarily the epic trait poison master - he becomes an epic orc then
3.) Save the game (mark an orc in the army menu f.e.
4.) Backup your savegame file
5.) Use the legendary training order or send your orc to the online fight pits for five wins
6.) If he didn't get the thick skinned OR great strength epic trait then restore your savegame file and restart the game and try it again (you have to send another orc to the online fight pits for one fight to reset the win streak of your first orc)
7.) If he got the thick skinned OR great strength epic trait (this is the legendary epic trait which cannot be changed), give your orc the other of these both traits by a training order
This way you can force, that your orc will have exactly these two epic traits.
If you want to give him three epic traits, give him first the epic champion trait and then the other of the both epic traits (thick skinned, great strength).

so ive got one training order that gives him the chance to get instantly legendary.. should i use it ? and then try to find these both training orders for thick skinned and great strength and add them to his legendary perk? but legendary orcs already have two special perks so i would end up with 4... im a bit confused and also: how do i make a savegame backup?

Usually an orc can have a maximum of two epic traits. However, with a bug in the champion training order, it is possible to give an orc three epic traits (in the past, another bug in the elite gang training order could even add up to four epic traits, but this bug has now been fixed).
First, give your orc the epic trait poison master (this will help him to survive in the online fight pits), and since you have not given him the thick skin or great strength, there's a chance he'll get one of both as soon as he becomes legendary. You will not be able to add any more epic traits through training orders, you can only replace the first epic trait (in your case, the poison master) with another. Either you then replace the poison master with the big strength or thick skin trait or you use the bug and replace the poison master first with the champion trait and then again with great strength or thick skin. The bug does not replace it after the champion training order, but instead added a third property. This is the best way to get exactly these traits. That doesn't mean, that it will work at the first try, but normally within the first five trys. ;o)

When you successfully win a online pit fight, you get a box with training orders in them. The longer your streak up to 5 or whenever your orc goes legendary, the more orders in the box. Again the boxes stop giving more after win 5 or whatever the number you go legendary at. One thing you can do is go into an online pit fight and if your orc starts to lose you go out to the main menu or alt+f4 to end the fight before your orc dies and then when you reenter the game it's like the fight didn't happen.

You don't have to quit the game completely for that. Just quit the game to go to mainmenu (not to desktop) and restart the game again. Even if your orc allready got killed, you can make the fight undone this way. But you have to quit to mainmenu within some seconds after he got killed, otherwise he will be dead for real.
