How long do you have to download the game?

These last days I have the impression to have a slowdown on my internet but according to the operator everything is ok


I need at least six hours to download the game, and you? I need to know because this will allow me to understand whether or not the internet picks up very well in my office

Its like 100gb, depends on your speed and Steam's speed. Check your download limit and location in steam settings.

6 hours also doesn't sound that bad for 100gb, that'd take me a whole day at least.

I don't know off the top of my head but when I was downloading Shadow of Mordor it peaked at 3MB/s over crappy wifi.

I have a 150mbps line, and I generally lose 10% on overhead, so my downloads run at about 15.5 - 16.25 MB/s, which means a 100GB download takes ~1h45m to 2 hours to complete.

As said above, it really depends on what kind of internet is available in your area. My buddy lives about an hour away from me and they have both Verizon FIOS and Google Fiber available, either of which are supposed to be around 1gbps, while the best cable package you can get in my area (that isn't business class and very expensive) is the 150mbps service I have.
