Tar Goroth Boss BUg? help?

so everytime when i get passed the FIRST cutscene of me escaping from the Ice cave The one Nature Spirit Tree won't show up to help me and the game doesn't go anywhere from here.... Anyone got a soluition or is this a BUG that NEEDS fixing?

I was dodging around like a monkey for a while. Then I got impatient and charged with my sword. He started whomping me. Then right before I died the cutsceen happened and Carnan appeared. I don't know if almost dieing triggered it, or if it was a timing coincidence, but that's how I got Carnan to appear.

I tried hitting him just now, and the small bar over his head actually went down but in the he end he just vanished (like it happened once) and i was stuck in the level wandering.

Went back and tried this mission again today and it worked fine. Was there a patch or something?

When you damage him to his 2/3 health, LSHIFT onto him so you can throw him in the waters.

I had the same issue, died three times, left the mission once.Finally got it to work after i read here in this post to dodge his attacks so that is what i did.I did not shoot him or hit him at all, i just dodged all his attacks and i got to the real fight and finally finished this buggy quest.

Well in my game when I am supposed to do the last shift attack and a quicktime event appears, the game barely responds to me literally slamming my space button, six ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ times and I'am just about to break my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ keyboard in frustration.

Same thing happens to me, constantly fails the quick time event where to avoid his whip. My keyboard is suddenly unresponsive.

So sad, the first part was SO INCREDIBLY EPIC, it really broke the flow of jumping straight into the 2nd half.

I have the same problem. Do you remember if you were able to defeat him? I also can't damage him beyond 2/3 health and trying to grab the Tar Goroth is not working. I know it is 3 years later, but can you try to help me? I don't know what to do you are the first one I found with the same bug

i remember that they came out with a patch that help fixed this? I'm not sure what the issue would be now if you're having this same problem.

I'm literally having the same issue now too, the last three main story missions aren't appearing and I'm stuck at this mission, so I'm not able to progress any further in the game.

I contacted the Middle-Earth Game Support now. Maybe they know how to fix the bug. I'm gonna let you know if they answer.

If you're using a PS4 controller on PC, try switching to your keyboard. I don't know if it's user error or a bug, but I could not get the quick time events to trigger by holding X. After switching to keyboard, holding L Shift worked every time.
