The game elling me to not spend cash in runs to make it more fun and not to play runs to the end is just not very fun

Great game, it does a lot of things right. One of the things I think it doesn't is the progression. As it is, you can spend a thousand fragments to get a +1 to a random stat on your next run. This feels totally useless. A 1% upgrade to some stat is not 4x more useful than a cosmic power, and the fact that it's only for 1 run feels really bad. Even if you saved up a ton to dump 100,000 fragments to give you a real edge in one run, you're not going to make that back even with a high tier. Maybe this scales...

Really enjoying this. Are there roll or dodge upgrades later on? Or is the feel a bit more Vampire Survivors? I need to play more, but until you get some of the more potent upgrades, it feels like fighting off attackers from multiple angles is tough. Again I need to try more characters and get more powers, but it is hard to defend. I know rolls and dodges are ubiquitous, but it might help with the swarms. If we are going more AoE thing, I can just keep my mouth/ typing fingers shut....

Just a list of some I've encountered: 1. When going up a difficulty tier, it multiplies any fragment collection mission. If you start a run and fail/quit, your mission remains. If you go up a tier again, that figure is again multiplied. This can lock the player in an unresolvable mission. On a related note, I'd really recommend the ability to cancel/reroll missions. Partly for the above reason, but also because it's no fun having to run labs for the 6th time in a row because that's the only mission that...
