Hey Pioneers!

We are just pushing out an updated build today. This should make things more stable. In particular, the team has been working on addressing the inventory issues that have popped up, and some bugs that caused save files to be corrupted. If you are experiencing any issues please let us know on our Discord[discord.gg].

- Made changes to inventory/socket
- Fix for save files corrupting
- Fix for darkness in Caves on Steam
- Fix being able to get progression locked before launch pad
- Removed deprecated storage container found in Mount Nyx
- Updated the rover visuals
- Fixed exiting vehicles
- Fixed wall colliders in bathrooms
- Fixed radiation protection upgrade
- Fixed planter box crafting
- Fixed colliders on vehicle ramps in New Amsterdam

We haven't been just working on bug fixes, we are also making progress on new content / reworks. Stand by for more information!

OK, glad to see many making great progress in the game. But, I cannot live past building my first Hab and adding water/food processors. I've used all the resources near enough to survive going out looking. What am I doing wrong? Can someone add a Guide on this PLEASE? Playing with Quest 3, Steam link, Steam. Thanks!...

More Updates Fixes for Inventory, Flashlights and More!

Hey Pioneers two more patches have been released! These bug fixes have been coming in so fast that we decided to combine two updates into one post.

Build 1036 // May 16th, 2025

- Fixed volume settings not being applied on game start
- Fixed ambient effect volume not being affected by effects volume
- Added an "Interface Volume" slider to sound settings
- Fixed locker animation so that it is actually open when re-entering after a scene transition
- Fixed an issue where structures (habitats, power connectors, etc.) could end in a limbo state
- Fixed unlock descriptions on a couple of areas
- Fixed a very high visual scene exit in one of the areas, effectively blocking access
- Fixed lightning storms also striking in indoor scenes
- Fixed laptop (game item) rotating around the wrong axis
- Fixed floating rocks in Mount Erebus
- Fixed unintentional visual mesh clipping in New Amsterdam

Build 1041 // May 16th, 2025

- Fixed all inventory/container issues
- Improved flashlight brightness in caves
- Player is no longer able to eat with helmet on
- Removed buying the RTG blueprint
- Fixed gap in Widowspan cave
- Added missing items to furniture crafter
- Fixed jetpack being constantly active on Virtual Desktop
- Fixed holes in Mount Nyx cave

Hey Pioneers,

We've just pushed a quick update that addresses two issues that were uncovered by users in our Discord (https://discord.gg/a6Kq86eTFN).

🐛 Bug Fixes

- Re-implemented "Bad Weather" events,
- Fixed bug causing players to fall through the floor
- Cloud saves are enabled on Steam.

We'll continue pushing updates as we work through high priority bug fixes. Expect more updates soon.

Can't eat my meal...

Hello anyone know why i can't eat? I'm in my habitation Room and hold the meal package to my mouth then i see the "consume" text but if i click the interact button nothing happens... Also if i put it in my mouth nothing happens. Quest3 and SteamVR

Dark cave is too dark

I cannot see anything. Is there a flashlight that I missed? I can see some light on the floor but that doesn't help me see where to go forward. I only see the exit. The log book says to explore the cave. Well, I tried but I literally cannot see anything. Is there a light source blueprint later on in the game? Did I go to the cave too early?...

Different developer and different publisher than basegame? Same quality and longterm support?

Does this game have anything in common with the original Surviving Mars game? It has the same name. But it has a different developer and a different publisher. I am just not sure what to think of it. I am not the biggest fan of Paradox, but at least they have a history of supporting their games for a longer time period. And we did in fact get several DLCs for the original Surviving Mars game and we did get updates for several years after release. Do you think this game will have similiar base building an...

Stuck with Machining Vendor

Hello and hope anybody can help by a little Stuck with producing a Computer Processor. I´ve bought the game on Meta Quest 3 and stuck with Processors in Game and can´t nothing find at solution for this Probs. I´ve cleared any Regions ingame with radar, i cleared 6 jamming towers and can´t now again because I can´t produce Computer Processors. I´ve the Blueprints and many more till Advanced Fuel and Advanced Processors but can´t find the Solution where i find the Processors. In the Machining Automa...
