The Disadvantages of Co-Op? Questions
So me and my brother have had our eyes on this for while and just got it in a sale. So far it seems actually harder than Styx MoS but we like that as we also don't play with "powers" unless the game literally forces it for near scripted stuff. We've also only done the prologue so far so have some questions.

Pick ups are not shared? This seems to be the case. Not a complaint, quite like it as it means more communication and forethought, just wondered does it apply to literally everything?

Respawns? We read that if one of us dies we can respawn them by using half of our health bar. Can that happen indefinitely or is there a point where your bar cannot be halved anymore?

Unlockables? Like skills, items, cosmetics etc are they shared? Individual? Are they paid for from a shared pool or individual ones?

Does Co-Op progress save? Can we go through the game from the start together unlocking things ourselves and have it carry?

Harder combat? It said on the co-op screen that in co-op guards can no longer be fought from the front e.g. they cannot be parried and stuff. Is this really true? It doesn't particularly bother us as we're all for more realism and we are 2-foot goblins but wondered exactly how it works now.

Scoreboard? Is everything shared? E.g. literally anything negative gives us both a reduced score and anything positive like tearing down a certain number of posters gives us both the benefits in extra points? I would imagine this is how it works.

Kind regards

I havent player Co-op yet but I remember with 100% certainty from another thread that items you pick up are not shared.
Pick ups are not shared? - Items picked up are not shared.

Respawns? - You can respawn indefinitely. Low health isn't much of an issue. It sucks when you have full health and your teammate comes in and spawns on you. You're both half health. If one does and then respawns again, you're both only using half of the health the other player has left. Eventually you're just running around with a sliver of health and that's how much you're co-op partner starts with.

Unlockables? Like skills, items, cosmetics etc are they shared? - Not shared. You're skills are your alone. Any items you craft, are yours alone. This can be a bonus - for example one of my skills allows me to craft lockpicks and traps. My brother works on improving his killing ability so he can kill from further out. I can open any locked doors and he can do better kills for hiding bodies.

Does Co-Op progress save? - Yes, any character skills learned are saved for the individual. My brother and I have been through the first 3 or 4 missions over the course of 2 weekends and all my skill progess is saved on my character and all his is saved on his character.

Harder combat? - I haven't really done any single player, but I was screwing around for about 10 minutes in game before my brother joined and to my surprise I kept getting prompted to "parry" with the left mouse click when a basic guard was trying to attack me. You cannot parry in co-op to my knowledge. You do come across fully armored enemies further into the game and you cannot do stealth kills on them. As I said up under my comment for "Respawns?" about how low health really isn't an issue - in co-op once you're caught and attacked, you're pretty much dead regardless of how much health you have. Only a handful of times have I been able to escape when I've had a lot of health.

Scoreboard? Is everything shared? - From what I've seen, everything is shared. All your kills and evertime you're spotted or have an alarm sound, they're all added up and both players get the same score.
