And i have to say hell yeah i loved the story from styx.
Comparison with the Witcher 3 will suit you?
Styx: Shards of Darkness (subjective comparison): there is no Russian localization, regional price 1999₽.
Price in USA: 40$, the duration is about 20 hours => 40/20=2 dollars per hour
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (subjective comparison): there is complete Russian localization, regional price 1199₽.
Price in USA: 40$, the duration is about 200 hours => 40/200=0.2 dollars per hour
The Witcher's story, graphics and gameplay are more interesting to me, but it's subjective.
Pummelbärchen2000, I don't know what is more interesting specifically for you, I close my eyes to the localization and the difference in regional prices, but $60 for 50 hours of play is more profitable than $40 for 20 hours.

If this is indeed true then yeah... The game sold very poorly on PC at least.
Honestly, I just finished Master of Shadows and liked the game but it was a bit dated and there were some issues... coming into the second game and I'm underwhelmed by the blatant consolisation they went with in this game. We now have a radial dial for choosing items and potions(Why no hotkeys or mouse wheel? It's much easier and faster! Why take this functionality away?). There's also weird keys that have been changed like to drop is now C instead of E(Which was never a problem before)...
The game looks better but it's really consolised and it sucks functionality out of the game. It's made the game have a crappy first impression especially coming off of the first game. Disappointed but I'm sure the game will be better...
If they do make a third Styx game -- which I hope they do but I doubt it with these sales figures -- they have to treat the PC version as a PC game and not as a console game. We deserve that at the very least.
I can't figure out how to use amber, acid, or life vials. Contrary to the NUMBERS by them when you view Inventory, pressing those numbers doesn't select them for "Q" use—pressing [QWERTY] 1 makes Styx vomit up a clone.
They have some SERIOUS work to do on this game yet. Whiole they're at it, a GAME MANUAL would be a MOST excellent idea.
And now we are on the point where i no longer have to talk to you. You know why?
COMPLET DIVERENT GENRE!!!!
Witcher: Open World RPG.
Styx:LvL based Stealth game.
Witcher: Open Combat and flasks and Buffs, farming for better gear etc.
Styx: Sneak kills and playing the game for better full armory or weapons.
Thats like you would say: Yeah cookis are nice but Cars are better. Absolutly no sence.
If you are to stupid to read the discription and Genres of the Game than its not the Problem of the game when you doesnt like it.
Back in 2004, when I bought Shadow OPS: Red Mercury, I couldn't survive more than the first ten seconds of the game until I bought a laser mouse—conventional optical mice didn't have a sufficiently fast (short) response time.
You didn't ask for the same genre, and I compared this game to what I'm interested in (because I wrote about interest, length and price). I'm interested in games of different genres. I'm not obsessed with one thing.
But the cookie costs as much as the car (in my case, the car is even cheaper).
::rolling eyes heavenward::
(puzzled frown) What I'm having trouble understanding, though, is…OP is less than thrilled with this game…work with me here…but, eagerly awaits the third installment?
And another thing: What's with the vitriolic emotional reaction to 2d0x? Maybe I'm dense or obtuse or something, but I don't read any sarcasm or hostility in what he wrote—he was being…normal, yet you reacted…as if you had perceived a personal attack of some sort. Too, he evidences a slightly above-average expertise with the mechanics of the English language, meaning he doesn't write like a barely subliterate troglodyte unfamiliar with the contents of books like "The Oxforf English Dictionary," "Roget's Thesaurus," and "Strunk & White's Elements of Grammar and Style."
But, what do I know? It's not like I've been getting published since 1972—wait a minute! Silly me—yes, I have!
