Just play at the Goblin difficulty, it's the way the game is meant to be played..
Because I want to get the game but I am not going to buy it full price if they didnt not improve upon the stealth with some much needed features.
Guard nearby? Whistle to get him yellow, grab and kill. If there's two guards you only need one bolt to kill both.
I also didnt like that you didnt have the kill from cover skill by default, same with drop kill and hanging kill, I would have rather get upgrades to those to do stuff like draining amber or hp from target or making body vanish or turning it into a poison bomb with a delayed fuse or hell even eating it for amber would be cool....not the whole " learn how to do obvious thing" upgrade we got now :/
You get all these you listed in the second game. Kill from above is the first skill from the "kill" tree, poison bombs are from clones.. and you also get the VERY op acid mine that even has a radius. You get the amber drain by using one of the daggers, same for body vanish, that'd be the Akenash dagger. Personally I think it,s the single most powerful thing in the game, you can't do muffled kills but since there,s no body, you pounce and quickly roll away when others come to check. And since there's again, no body.. no alert either.
Hey, in the first game Styx was just a grumpy goblin, he's several decades older now, so he knows his stuff.
Just play Goblin difficulty, you won't ever need to worry about fights (or your life bar)
Good stuff. I feel this is the way the game should be played anyway. You're a nasty, foul mouthed little gobbo, not a powerful hero.
I'm happy what they did with the sequel.. having plenty of humor added and badass level design is a treat. Seriously, whenever I hear Styx groan about another game In Character I just grin like an idiot. The reference to Assassin's Creed actually made me laugh out loud.
