And before you ask for a patch you need to get community backing from multiple people within the community to affirm this is a widespread problem. You can't just assume it is and then ask for a patch, otherwise it reflects badly on the developers because it will seem like they didn't do anything, when there was actually no problem to begin with.
Nine times out of ten, this isn't a big deal. But if you need to get somewhere precisely, such as if you're jumping from one rope to another rope, then even slight deviation can screw up the jump and get an unfair death.
I notice it the most on the prologue level, if you try to swing on the ropes underneath the tavern.
On a scale of 1 - 10 how easy is it?
And what grade cpu do you have.
Hold W only for forward, not back and forth alternating W and S
Slide up and down the rope; hold rgt mouse button and W for up and S for down
When you release, make sur you use spacebar instead of C, if C you will plummet to death.
Good luck
I'm playing this game right now and i'm experiencing this issue, but this user wrote a solution that worked for me
Thanks goforit;, you saved me, indeed i was making the mistake of swinging back and forth and that was causing the issue, i just hold now the direction of where i want to go and it swinged in the proper way
You are a legend! I was swinging backwards and forwards too, and this correction has saved me a lot of grief. Thankyou!
