A Night Filled With the Sound of Rain is a short, atmospheric visual novel that offers a contemplative and emotionally resonant experience with a twist at the end. The game is set in a cozy, rain-soaked bar where players are invited to engage in introspective conversations with Michiru, a mysterious woman whose thoughtful dialogue drives the narrative. In addition to this "cozy" "cosmic" bar setting with rain sounds in the background, this game features a lo-fi soundtrack, retro pixel art, and a choice-based narrative, elements that together give the player a different experience from typical adult games where erotic content is always the focus, allowing them a moment of peace and reflection before intense manual labor.

The premise is simple yet evocative: on a rainy night, the protagonist stumbles into a quiet bar where he meets Michiru, a beautiful young woman with large breasts (G cup) who seems to know the protagonist, although they have never met in "real life", as she has only seen him repeatedly in her sleep.
The first half of the game focuses on dialogue, with the cocktails you order determining the topics discussed, ranging from lighthearted banter to deeply personal reflections. These choices add to the game some replayability, as different drinks unlock new conversation paths and you can learn more about Michiru, such as her personality, aspirations, past, etc. While it is true that there are different paths, the duration of these paths is not very long, so even if you try all the options by saving and loading the game, the duration of the title is no more than an hour.
Once you explore the different conversations with Michiru and "leave" the bar to fulfill his dream of finding love is when the adult content begins, from this part there are also some choices to make, but they are totally irrelevant because regardless of which one you choose, the outcome will always be the same.

Given the short length of this title, it does not have an extensive amount of sexual content, as technically there is only one sex scene with 8 short pixel art animations, each of which illustrates a different sexual act.
That said, the quality of the pixel art animations is quite good, with detailed art, an attractive heroine, appropriate body proportions, a fairly noticeable erotic touch (such as steam coming out of mouths, drops of sweat, semen, etc.), and some erotic sound effects such as moans, which although they can be a bit simple, do their job of adding more "spice".
The content you can see in the sexual "scenes" is completely vanilla, with some oral sex, breast jobs, breast massages, kissing, anal sex (doggy style) and vaginal sex (missionary).
Finally, I would like to point out that this game has a gallery of scenes, CG, etc., so from the menu you can see each pixel art animation separately, without having to hide the text boxes, and you can enjoy in all its splendor Michiru's naked and uncensored body.

A Night Filled With the Sound of Rain is certainly an atypical game, because even for eroge visual novels that usually focus on narrative rather than sexual content, this game touches on more "philosophical" and predestination themes that I don't think have really been seen in other titles.
As for the sexual content of this game, it has a pixel art style that I really loved, plus the movements of the animations are fluid, giving a high quality result, so it really affected me that there are only 8 animations, as I was left wanting to see more.
For a game that costs 4 dollars (on sale), I really think it's worth a try, both for its narrative, if you want to enjoy a short story quite thoughtful, or even for its erotic content, which being vanilla is really enjoyable for all types of players and can help you for your nightly manual labor without problems.

Super sweet game for escaping reality~
The story is unfortunately very short (approximately an hour long, though there is some replaying value due to different conversations you can unlock), however offers a lovely, mysterious and melancholic experience, supported by a dreamy and serene atmosphere. The graphics are gorgeous with an ethereal blue color palette, while the music is highly relaxing, accompanied by rain sounds.

I like that the writing actually involves the player, such as allowing to somewhat customize the dialogue when talking to Michiru about your problems or that "storyteller" in general, it made the experience a lot more immersive to me. Also the conversation topics vary from basic lighthearted introductions to deeper topics to contemplate about, I found that interesting as well. I additionally adore the little gallery room, it feels very cozy and I think it would be awesome if there were more functions.

Altogether I really enjoyed this and am simply sad that there isn't much content to explore, since I'd love to spend more hours in this beautiful setting.
