Demo Version 0.2.4

Here are the changes in version 0.2.4!

- Made the homunculus' hand game more forgiving.
- Added a caption when you're full on healing herbs.
- New Game Over sting.
- New keyboard only option. Moved sheathe/unsheathe to R.
- Rework of the control's code and the settings menu.
- Tweaks to the post-processing.
- Fixed a lighting issue in the Living Quarters.

I also updated the game's manual! You can download it from the store page :)

End of demo or bug?

I got upto the training grounds area and got the observation key and tried to leave and a skeleton guy blocked the hallway and I killed him but there seems to be an invisible barrier not allowing me to move over his dead body back into the dead plant room?...

Here's what's been fixed and added in version 0.2.3

- Disabled the item drop action while using a weapon or holding healing herbs.
- Homunculus now has more health and says, "Copy my hand".
- Homunculus now shoves the player away while giving the tutorial. Fixed a few other issues.
- Reworked the game initialization process when resuming from a game over and/or from the title screen.
- Normal doors don't play the web sound effect when attacked anymore.

turning on left stick with King's Field controls

would be really nice to have an option to set left-right turning on left stick (a-la tank controls, like in KF games), instead of having full movement on it, or ability to swap dpad with stick (i later noticed dpad stays always the same) or maybe xbox controller players get the privilege of experiencing the game feeling even more vulnerable than usual, who knows :^) having really good first impressions from the demo overall, surprised to have KF-styled shoulder buttons, and Especially surprised that this ...

Clunkiness can be a great thing if a game is designed with it in mind. As a huge fan of Shadow Tower and survival horror games i'm in love

Massive props for making a game with classic KF-style controls whilst justifying not using the analog stick for the camera

Haven't checked out the demo yet (I have surprisingly too many KF-inspired games I have to check out first) but I'm definitely gonna for this alone. Fantastically creative idea.

soft locked?

burned the body and picked up the blank of wood. was fighting the zombie that shows up after you do that but accidentally hit the button to drop items while my sword was out. so when i un equipped my sword the blank was gone. i looked and its nowhere to be found on the ground...
