We’re excited to finally announce Charlatan — a spooky slot-machine roguelike where every spin is a turn, every risk matters, and cheating is the only way to survive.

In Charlatan, you’ll build synergies, rig the reels with magnets, tickets, stickers, and other dirty tricks, then try to escape a cursed cartoon amusement park run by corrupted showmen.

Alongside today’s announcement, we’re opening the Charlatan Playtest on Steam. If you want to be among the first players to step into the park, test the game, and help us shape it before release, you can request access directly from the store page.

The playtest will be available for 1 week!

The playtest will let you try an early version of the game, experiment with different strategies, break the slot machine in your favor, and tell us what feels fun, confusing, unfair, or suspiciously cursed.
Your feedback will help us tune the game’s balance, pacing, readability, and overall feel.
