Hey again zomboarders!

First: Merry Christmas! I'll be heading out of town tomorrow to be with family. I hope you'll get to relax and spend some time with your loved ones as well.

This means will be the last update for the year! Or at least, I hope it is. Hopefully there's no breaking changes that I have to fix.

Anyway, a lot has changed since the demo's first release earlier this year, and as always I'm listening to your feedback and implementing your ideas when I can. I'm deeply grateful for that, so thank you, and feel free to keep sending feedback my way!

With that said, here's the changelog for 11-22-25 (1.7.40+abfc0381):

• Fixed an issue where medium tricks were not scoring medium trick points

• Retail Rush is now Retail Therapy. Gain 1 mult for every $ spent!

• Various pickups have had their trigger radius increased to make them easier to pick up

• Adjusted the camera (again) so your character is easier to see

• The mult that resets after exiting a helicopter is now split from your starting mult that persists through your run

• Fixed spawn areas so items will no longer spawn right at the edge of the map

• Zombie placement is now less uniform in Alpine Park

• Drones will now point towards the nearest CARVE letter, or will point towards a pizza topping if the current challenge is a pizza delivery challenge, or will point to the helicopter during a snowstorm challenge

• New boss challenge!

  • The pizza delivery challenge is back! Find toppings on the slope and collect them before you enter the helicopter to win. But be careful, you don't have your shotgun with you!

• New cheats!

  • The drone from early builds is also back as a cheat item! Buy it in the shop. You'll earn less money, but it'll point towards your objective so you'll never get lost again.

• New characters!

  • Ayylien - The truth is out there, and so is a UFO. Find it and shoot it for a surprise!

• New perks!

  • Goldfish - It's back! Now every 9th trick will reset your stale tricks. This should pair nicely with perks that reward you for doing fresh tricks, so give it a try!

  • Abacus - Earn 3 mult when completing a challenge! The earlier you find it, the more useful it becomes.

• New hat!

  • Santa Hat - Ho ho ho, merry Christmas!

• Bowling pins can be found littered on the map. Each pin knocked down earns 1 mult, but get a strike to earn an extra mult bonus!

• The letters C-A-R-V-E are now on the slope again! This was a previously scrapped challenge from the early builds which has been brought back. They get progressively more difficult to collect but they earn more mult for collecting them every time you find them all, so be sure to pick them up!

• More rails were added to Alpine Park! These rails can help you take tight turns really fast and lead to places you might want to go.

• A handful of new loading screen tips

• Removed perks

  • Tornado Twist has been removed. Pending a rework.

As usual, I hope you're enjoying the demo. I've made more changes to help make the game better for you all. This update includes new perks, fixes, and various changes and adjustments, so let's get right to it:

Here's the changelog for 11-22-25 (1.7.35+63fc6535):

• Fixed radial blur still showing when boosting when radial blur is turned off

• Fixed an issue where bailing a trick while landing a rail kept the grinding UI on screen

• Fixed an issue where you could move the camera while the game was paused

• Fixed an issue where the shop reminder in the main menu would trigger when you have $0

• Fixed an issue where inputs wouldn't properly reset when prompted between updates

• Fixed an issue where mode and level select options ignored the settings and were way too loud

• Fixed an issue where the timer's size and color while in the shop

• Fixed slippery controls while on walls

• Fixed an issue where turret-related perks would appear in the shop on the bunny slope

• Fixed an issue where perks in the shop would not correctly update their ability to be purchased when spending money

• Fixed an issue where drinks would disappear when re-rolling the shop

• Adjusted visibility of the controller visual when confirming level exit

• Adjusted camera dampening

• Adjusted left analog stick behavior to snap near-vertical analog input. This means that when you push the left analog stick up, you shouldn't have to worry about going left or right on accident

• Changed nudging acceleration to gradually accelerate instead of all at once. This should make going up certain slopes easier and give you more control over your speed overall

• Changed how the Keepin' it Fresh perk is displayed to now show proc count

• Changed aiming logic to be more precise

• New players are now forced into the tutorial when starting the game for the first time

• Made several optimizations to the zombies. You should see a roughly 20% higher frame rate when playing, especially on the Steam Deck!

• Added a cheats screen after selecting a level! Now you can see exactly what cheats are enabled before starting a run and how they'll impact your rewards. Subsequently, the cheats screen in the options are now gone.

• Added new perks

  • Aerial Ace: Earns 1 mult for every 360. Get spinning!

  • Frugal: Earns 1 mult for every $ you have. Spend less money, get more mult!

• Blood trails! When riding over a blood splatter, your snowboard trail will turn red for a little while

• Removed perks

  • Dust Devil, wasn't as useful as I intended. Pending rework

• Removed the "Buy Mult" button in the shop, new perks should make this obsolete
