^ This guide also applies for online matches that have bots. After RS was launched, the bots got really screwed up somehow, but I recently noticed that they are somewhat like they used to be, so the above still applies.

Actually it has one of the best considering all of the things they're programmed to do (which is a lot)
If you are thinking of "Bots" in games like BF or CoD or FarCry, etc.... those are not true bots, but scripted NPCs..... programmed to be in specific spots, doing the same specific routines and the same limited actions.
When you go through BF or CoD'd SP, their "Bots" are scripted to appear at the same places at the same time, doing the same thing every time you hit a certain section of the game, which means the replayability is crap because once you go through it once, you already know what will happen the next time through.
With these bots, they're designed to spawn using random weapons, random classes, on random teams, going for random objectives and spawning in random locations, while trying to follow whatever random orders a player gives. Plus they're designed to use cover or use objects to set their weapons on, etc..... To ensure all of this works flawlessly is a feat to say the least and I'm not surprised that there's a number of issues with the bots.
They're certainly not perfect and haven't been since launch, but they are manageable if you know how to "Talk" to them like my guide shows.
i wish TWI would release a statement about what the guy they hired to work on bots was up to. they said they hired one a long time ago and we've not heard anything since. i don't remember hearing about any changes in the "what we are up to now" threads or anything in patch changelogs.

Red Orchestra 2 is Badlier as Red Orchestra 1, i have this Game only Buy vor Tank Modus.
The Tank Modus is not more as an very Bad Demo ! :-(
Assad2 is a Map wit better Graphic. The Funktion is Horrible BAD
Crump-map is better Funktionable, the Graphic is from DirectX 5 or 3 :-(
Summary no Tank Game
If i doing a Shoth, cuzing KI in my Shotline und my Bullet damaged him,
i kicked, KI not kicked shot bis daedly Vrecking caming.
and why he thinks this thread has anything at all to do with tanks, is beyond me!
artificial intelligence is very bad, all bot tanks shoot in team-mates head!
if i am taking a shot, bots run into my shotline and get killed. i get kicked, not the bot. this is wrecking the game.
sounds right to me.
don't shoot your friendly bots with your tank. don't let enemy tank bots shoot you.
simple.
but they are dumb as mud. you have to make sure there are none around before you can pull the trigger.
