I find this pretty unfair. I'm by no means an expert, but by level 39 I find myself doing pretty decently on most full servers. And even when i'm always dying, it's still fun.
If you enjoy WW2 and want a fun, semi-realistic FPS, go ahead and pick it up. You can still refund it if you play under 2 hours anyway.
Go into the game... select 'workshop' and you can setup bot matches.
For advice, tips, hints, ideas and general know-how i suggest subscribing to General Sir Anthony CH Melchett and Comrade IntensE. Both are outstanding players and uber tutors especially for newcomers to the game. There are many guides in the Workshop Browser that are very useful, helpful & indispensible to any new player, they should be MANDATORY reading, especially sections & guides on Team Leader, Squad Leader & throwing Grenades. COMPULSORY reading in my humble opinion. There is nothing easy about RO2, apart from getting killed.
With time, patience and knowledge Red Orchestra 2 rules the roost. Yes it is difficult, but nothing worthwhile is easy, simple or straightforward, shooting bots is dull, gets boring fast and one learns how to fight bots, not human players. Once the keys, gameplay and basics are mastered RO2 becomes the best MP FPS by a country mile. Like ive said 50 million times before, i never exaggerate. Well, especially never about RO2, it has no FPS equal in a WW2 setting. But it is NOT EASY against good players on a packed server, its tough going but well worth the effort to learn and improve. I was useless hopeless & cannonfodder for great players and now i can effectively help my team and know the maps inside out, while still providing great cannonfodder for great players, but dont be daunted, its well worth the die/spawn/die/spawn... merry-go-round to eventually with effort and time become better over time. One cannot improve playing solely Bots, playing better players than oneself is my tip to improvement with this demanding, fascinating, enthralling, exciting, fun and at times scary game.
Play humans, get shot, a lot, improvement follows OR
Play robots, get shot, a lot and one learns next to nothing.
Kind regards & all the best mate. Do yourself a favour and get it asafp.
As i always say, ..."too much Red Orchestra 2 is nowhere near enough!"
