Tips?

Just wanna discuss some tips for the game!

So far the only thing I've found that made much of an improvement is:

1. Daily practice (obvious)
2. Warm-ups going up in difficulty before you do any team-battles or what have you
3. Hovering your fingers over the keys instead of resting them directly on them (may vary)

Any others? I know for me sometimes I'll instantly lose focus or mis-read a key mid-song and mess up a line of keys and then panic (causing me to mess up again). Any tips on how to just stay calm and keep focus? Or tips to faster finger movement?

I also noticed that sometimes even when I'll get an entire line or two of keys 100% correct, it will still say "cool" instead of "wow" and I'm not sure why..but that's a different topic. :')

Hmm I don't have many useful tips yet, I just started playing this game a few days ago.
But what helps me to at least get *some* of the space keys at 100% is to only focus on the beat of the music and not look at the time bar. I also noticed that the slower the song is, the harder it is for me to get 100% on those blasted space keys xD

And yes, I noticed it too that sometimes when you get every key 100% that it will still say 'Cool' instead of 'Wow'... O.O?

If you loose your focus and miss some key then you should not panic and wait for an entry point from where you will continue the track.

PErsonally for faster reaction try practice with nonstop crazy gamemode on lower difficulties for awhile... that can help with learning how to react to faster songs normally.

in regards to the 100% cools it is because of your timing not your accuracy, you can still get 100% keynotes but still be off beat by a fraction which can cost you a wow. Some attribute it to lag but eh.. who knows :)

Also mastering the spacebar timings can make a huge difference. Learning to use the 8 key combos are great too eg; 1-9 on the numpad.
