Speaking of games turning into movies...

Keep in mind, that cutscene of Resistance: Fall of Man is only 2 minutes of a 12-15 hour adventure, which is 4 to 5 times the length of all three FNAF games. Additionally, the movie potiential of Resistance would a lot more interesting as well as more fleshed out considering the amount of set pieces, while FNAF will struggle attempting to create a movie consisting of a story of all three games to fill 90 minutes when only 1/5 of it will probably be relevant to the plot.
S. Cawthon - The Creator
Roy Lee - Experienced with the Horror/Children Genre
Jeff Katzenburg - CEO of Dreamworks
Seth Grahame-Smith - Didn't do much.. made Abraham Lincoln kill Vampires.. so.. WTF?..
It's confirmed Horror, so we don't have to worry about it being PG
And Scawthon is mentioned to be helping in the Film's Production or something..
Apparently Seth made "How to Survive a Horror Movie: All the Skills to Dodge the Kills" and a Written Porn documentary, so that might help, let's just hope he doesn't get too excited about Chica
FNaF movie is confirmed.
And I for one am not claiming Scott is a cinematic or storytelling genius. It's rather obvious that the story started simple and was expanded once the first game became popular, but I will say that he has a very good sense of atmosphere. The games are creepy, and all the little details of a children's place gone horrible wrong work very well.
If they can keep the atmosphere, and add a workable story that fits within a 60-90 minute runtime, it could be good. That said, it gets a little tiresome dealing with all the extremes of the fanbase, both rabid fanboys where Scott can do no wrong, and the haters who won't admit that there are core accomplishments in the design of the game that deserve praise. People need to just relax.
One question: Are they going to try and be realistic?
What?
