ESRB only rates console games, but FNAF is okay, as long as your son can handle some jumpscares.

Oh wow, pixelated blood, so spooky. Have you forgotten 80% of people who play the games are like 9?

There's no official rating but based on everything that's in the game, it would probably be T

probbaly t for teen but he could probbaly handle it since the jumpscares get stale after a while

T for Teen could work. But little kids always try to play games not recommended for them because they think it's "edgy", the same reason they watch Pewdiepie, who they probably discovered the game from. But it's not too gory or anything, just some jumpscares, scary atmosphere, and a very creepy backstory.

8-bit blood is too gory now? Wow.

Probably T for Teen, though the game doesn't carry much elements of violence compared to other games with the same rating. Also, swearing is kept to an absolute minimum and any level of gore isn't by any means disturbing or scary. Jumpscares may scare a couple times, though they get stale pretty quickly. As for overall atmosphere and horror, either it's creepy throughout the entire experience, or you'll get used to it.

^true. The most swearing you'll get out of this game is "crappy" from Phon-I mean, Stone Guy on Night 1.

This isn't a game that tries to be edgy or "WOW, HOW ADULT IS THAT??! IKR"

Alot of games try to be "edgy" and "serious", the biggest one to laugh at is Shadow the Hedgehog (PS2, Xbox, and Gamecube), which has aliens (Time to prepare the hues) and relies on the characters (Even Sonic himself) saying "damn" to drive home the point of being "mature."

The rating you may ask? Rated E10+. On the bright side, the game made me laugh on how much it tries too hard to be serious.

There is pixelated blood, and one "curse-word" some jumpscares. No other gore. Seems fine to me
