Scifi films like the game?

Hi everyone!

I was just wondering, do you know any films that are like the game? Cheesy lines, cliched main characters, clay animation, awesome lasers and all of that I watched forbidden planet but I think it's a bit too old, it wasn't bad, but it didn't feel like the game.

Any suggestions?

The Flash Gordon movie is close, considering Scarlet and the Emperor were lifted straigh from it pretty much.

lol..that was a dishwasher? lol..i always thought it was a dryer.

When fighting the lizard creatures, not the dinosaurrs, reminds me of the reptile creatures from the old land of the last..well there even in the newer version with Will Ferell..well there called sleestak i think..

It is another funny sci fi movie..just a newer one based one one made in the 1960's and a remake..it was made a comedy on purpose...lol.
