Trains randomly exploding?
I've completed every level (except for Germany, which I haven't bought yet) and didn't seem to encounter this until now. But sometimes my trains seem to randomly explode without crashing into anything. What's the deal? They're just going along their merry way on the track and suddenly KABOOM!

@Richon, thanks for your input! Unfortunately there is a very rare bug, that we can't catch and fix completely. Sometimes, especially then train is on switch, especially on reverse and probably then some other trains are living stations on the level - it's blowing up. That's all we know about this "loch ness" bug. Maybe you will help us to determine conditions to reproduse this issue, so we can finally fix it. :tvhook:

You're right that it happened on switches for at least one of the times this happened to me yesterday. (Might have been all three, I can't recall)

The only other details I remember:

All three trains were turning
All three trains exploded after I unpaused the game
I was running on 4x speed when the trains exploded

If this happens to me again, I'll make a note of every factor I can think of.

@Richon, thanks! Let me updated!

I have the same issue. Very annoying bug. Almost done with China. It seem to happen more often on specific maps. But it's a great game anyways.

I don't think China's in this game, only Europe, USA, USSR, Japan, and Germany.

But yeah, I experienced this bug for the first time, right at the start of 3-5, the USSR map Let's Go! The train was leaving the station, was right on the switch, and spontaneously exploded, immediately voiding my "no explosion" stamp. That was... fun to witness, I hoped it had been patched out.
This may have happened in other levels, but playing Let's Go! makes this bug happen consistently, I keep failing the no-explosions stamp because trains spontaneously combust upon departure. It's ridiculous that a map prone to this bug is one with the stamp for NOT experiencing this bug, could you at least fix that, please?

Hey @haha, jk..., thanks for the feedback. I know that this bug is very frustrating, we'd love to fix it but can't catch the reason. Could you please check your log file right after that bug appears again (win: Have a look at the log file? On Windows C:\Users\[user]\AppData\LocalLow\Oroboro games\TrainValley\output_log.txt or something similar). And send this file to info[a]flazm.com? Thank you!
(Just in case, letting you know here that I sent the email containing my train-exploding session log, and I can send more whenever it happens if that would help.)

We have checked the log file, but it is empty, unfortunately, no clue again. Probably you can find the algorithm of reproducing this bug? So we can check it inside the engine and find the source of the problem.

Cyan and Yellow are the only ones I've seen it happen at. I don't know about the other stations though, because I keep having to restart before it gets to that point.

My best guess would be that turning corners as they leave the stations causes the trains to touch the stations and count as collisions, exploding them. I don't know why it's this map in particular that gets this reaction.
To be completely informative, I will say that I was following this guide in the hope that I could execute a explosion-free run of the level: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yu-Tzb3HQiY

I did nothing differently, but suffered explosions.

Thanks! We will check it out!
I think I should update: running it enough times gave me some runs without the bug happening a single time, so it's not entirely ruinous.
