Running with less than 128 MB video memory
Hello all

I'm running Steam link on a Pi 4 with OSMC but I keep getting a message saying "You are running with less than 128 MB video memory, you may need to go to the Raspberry Pi Configuration and increase your GPU memory."
Which I have to press ENTER to skip

The issue is I'm trying to setup a "media center"-ish Pi setup controlled only using a PS5 controller so pressing ENTER is a bit of a pain. Any way to disable the memory check on Steam Link?

UPDATE:
I solved it by just editing the steamlink.sh in ~/.local/share/SteamLink
I just replaced
show_message --warning $"You are running with less than 128 MB video memory, you may need to go to the Raspberry Pi Configuration and increase your GPU memory."
with a simple
echo "some message"

If you create the file .ignore_gpumem in ~/.local/share/SteamLink, it will skip that check and you won't have to re-edit the file when Steam Link updates.

Ahh, that's way easier than having to edit the .sh on each update.
Thank you, slouken!

Also, I really recommend increasing your video memory. You'll get black flashes and other video problems depending on your video resolution and bitrate and so forth if you don't.

I've tried but it doesn't seem to be possible to manually increase the video memory in OSMC on a Pi 4.
