Updated Steam Link package to 1.0.7

The latest version of the Steam Link package checks the GPG signature of any update, please upgrade your package to the latest version.

To install, run the following from a command line:
curl -#Of http://media.steampowered.com/steamlink/rpi/steamlink_1.0.7_armhf.deb
sudo dpkg -i steamlink_1.0.7_armhf.deb

To run, you can launch it from the Games menu, or run the following from a command line:
steamlink

i'm still getting the black display when i press "start playing". is there any kind of outputs i can provide from my host computer or the pi to help identify anything for this? im think i am running stretch, i installed via the NOOBS, but it doesnt say "with stretch", like one page says for the manual download. but i'm assuming the raspberry website must be hosting the stretch version by default now.

Here is some helpful information:

What is the contents of logs\streaming_log.txt on your computer after you stream?
What is your computer display resolution?
What is your Raspberry Pi display resolution?
What kind of display do you have hooked up to your Raspberry Pi?
What happens if you remove the file ~/.local/share/SteamLink/bin/screenblank?

-ill post my contents of the log file seperate from this, since its pretty large
- computer host at 1920x1080
- raspberry pi (from tvservice -s command, is that ok?) shows "state 0x12000a [HDMI CEA (16) RGB lim 16:9], 1920x1080 @ 60Hz, progressive"
- just a regular HDMI Acer LCD monitor, nothing fancy
- when i move the screenblank file and press "start playing", instead of a black screen i just see my regular raspberry pi desktop.

Interesting, it looks like you're using Intel hardware encoding. Try disabling that in the Steam advanced host streaming settings?

that did the trick, the steam settings had all 3 graphics options checked by default it seems. not sure why it kept fixating on the intel instead of my AMD card. really appreciate your help on this, this feature you are making is what made me go get one of these pi's. you make sure gabe gives you a good bonus this year.

Could the case statement calculating $BF in the steamlink launcher get wrapped in a if [ ! $DISPLAY = "" ] ? $BF appears to be only used for the message output when there is an X11 display, and the commands used aren't compatible with the busybox version of said commands.
