Problems getting the iPega 9083s to work with Steam Link

As title says, I can't seem to get that bluetooth controller to work with Steam Link. It is paired to the phone, I already played some Android games and emulators with it, but Steam Link still says "No Controller Detected". Any advice?

You need to pair the controller in Android Standard Mode (with the selection switch at the little game controller icon)
