How to access Steam Link App through another network

but games may not be playable due to lag or upload/download limits

forward ports from your router to the host pc
UDP ports 27031 and 27036
TCP ports 27036 and 27037

have the link connect to the routers internet ip to test on same lan or play from remote location

You can also setup and use a VPN, if your router supports that, it's also much more secure than opening ports on the internet.

I just found entering IP address for remote machine, could be enough.

I not up with how skycomputer bridges to my local network, I just know steam link app sees and connects to remote machine, and even does it so slickly am quite excited!

different subnet, you need to forward ports

I would like to thank you, I used the ports you said and it worked perfect. I installed a free DNS server and from that outside I was able to access my Steam through an external network.

I made an access through the 4g network in my cell phone and a network where is installed my PC has a speed of 100Mb of download and 50Mb of upload. During the games I tracked the data traffic both in the cellular network and in the PC was near a transfer rate of 10 Mb / s download in the cell phone and 10Mb / s upload on the PC.

Please could you explain it a little more? I can't set up it.

I have these settings when opening ports on my router:

No way to do it through router? My Asus router supports VPN too.

So it's not enough to open and forward ports and then put the remote PC IP on Steam Link App?

The DNS service is just so that you can use a fixed name to call your router/pc, rather than an IP which may change (depending on your operator). Then you can either open all the port needed by steam link, and redirect them correctl, OR you can just use a VPN.

BTW, my asus router (AC87) does also support Dinamic DNS through asus DNS servers, without using things like no-ip

Setup your Internet for use with WiFi with a Company that supports WiFi outside of your Home, just go to one of their branches, or their WiFi Spots... Hook up your Home Account to the WiFi Spot... & Try to see if you can connect to your STEAM from Home with your Phone at that Location...

I dunno if it will work, but it's worth a try... Right? oO

Use In-Home Streaming to do this, I know what In-Home Streaming is, but it should still in Theory technically work...

PS: You need a Router at home with at least WiFi connection Enabled, =D

If XFinity can work, maybe Internet from other Companies can work, too? No? =D

I got it working a few months back, setup OpenVPN on my home server and virtualhere on my gaming rig, added PS4 remote play to steam, bunch of emulators and Xbox one app to steam, on my phone I added OpenVPN and virtualhere as the controller needs to be passed through for the apps to see them, currently steamlink only emulates the Xbox controller 100% for the PS4 I had to decline using it in steam and use virtualhere instead. The PS4 remote play requires the PS4 to be connected via ethernet, the Xbox doesn't require it but it's better to have it connected. Rather than using mobile data I just use wireless hotspots, take my ps4 controller and an old Xbox 360 controller coz I like their thumbsticks better. Now I can play any steam game, PS4 game, Xbox one game and any emulator on my phone remotely. It would be great if valve could add in their own VPN to VPN and proper PS4 controller support for PS4 remote play but I'm pretty darn happy showing this off to people in public they all think it's not possible lol
