Certain buttons will not map, after connecting Xbox controller

hi there, I am able to connect my Xbox one s controller to this Android app on my Android phone.

However I'm not able to map all buttons, because when I press them they are not detected on the controller mapping screen. The buttons that will not map our, the guide button, the start button, menu button, left analog push, right analog push

I'm not able to fully play any games, and I cannot quit any games because the start menu doesn't work. These buttons used to be detected and map successfully in this app. A recent update broke it I believe

Ever figure this out? Same issue here. It was working a few months ago and now some buttons on the Xbox One controller will not map in the Steam Link app

I honestly haven't tried. I'm expecting to jump into XCloud streaming now that its coming to Canada. I can't imagine i will try this again.

If i get a chance I will try it again to try and figure it out

Similar issue here. I have 2 controllers paired with my Android device.
Controller 1 works perfect, but controller 2's X button and Trigger are not working at all (cant even map).
At first I thought my controller 2 is broken, but it works if I connect it directly to my host Windows.

Some spec:
Amazon Fire TV Cube
Xbox one wireless controllers
Steam Link build 1.1.49.111

Microsoft changed the Bluetooth control mapping in their controller firmware update, so not all versions of Android may understand one or the other.

What version of Android is your device running?
If you run the Xbox Accessories app on your computer, what version of firmware does it say each controller has?

Just updated the controller to the latest version through the Xbox Accessories app: 4.8.1923.0, didn't seem to help.
Android version 10 with latest January security patch (Pixel 3).
