Samsung has released a free Steam Link app for their 2016 and 2017 Smart TVs.
You can find it by searching for Steam in the Smart Hub app store.

Please make sure that your TV firmware is updated to the latest version for the best experience.

Supported Controllers:

Thank you, switching my store country to the Philippines allowed me to install the Steam Link app as well as the other apps I usually use.

The app is working perfectly with my Steam Controller (using the dongle).

My TV too.
It's begin checking PC, found it, show PIN, then unplug from PC. Next time TV not found PC.
My TV is Samsung ue40k5510. Two PC: with Win 7x64 wired and Win 10x64 wireless.
Connection with hardware Steam Link working correctly from both PC, Samsung application noy working normally.

Same issue ... First time, TV detected PC well, then entered PIN, and had to update drivers. Next time I've opened the TV app, no way to detect my puter.

I tried to switch networks (I've both an ADSL router and a 4G one), to use wired or wifi connection on PC, on TV (but I can't use wired connection in the same time on both devices ... too far), stop my AV, make a rain dance, restart Steam, PC, TV, ...NO WAY !

My TV : Samsung UE55MU9005

You will need a wireless adapter to plug in to your tv for a wireless 360 controller to work
you can get one for cheap from ebay

It seems like the TV need to be capable to connect to the gamepad first trough bluetooth and then, the app automatically works, so, go and speak with samsung.
We could do a twitter plataform to support that iniciative, for exaple doing a reteewt or something

It supports a bluetooth keyboard so I assume they'll add the controller support to steam link app

I don't mean to contribute to the "when will you support X device", but I couldn't find anything in the threads.

Are there any plans for DS4 support?

Right now I have a physical steam link and a DS4 controller. I plan on buying a new Samsung TV - but only when DS4 controllers are supported.
