I just tried this and it worked fine here. We just fixed a crash with some D3D 11.1 games, can you try the latest Steam Beta client?
https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Betas
For it to work I need to explicitly run LEGOBatman3_DX11.exe from Explorer, rather than using "Play" in Steam (explicitly running LEGOBatman3.exe from Explorer crashes)
I switched the game to D3D9 and it still works fine here. Does it only crash while streaming, or does it crash when playing locally as well?
Checked the Registry setting for the game (HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment\LBM3) and it was set for DirectX 11.
I changed it to DirectX 9 and was able to run Lego Batman 3 in DirectX 9 mode locally and via the Steam Link.
Setting the DirectX version to 11 again via the in game options caused the game to crash again on the next start.
HOWEVER if I ran the LegoBatman3_DX11.exe directly (via Explorer locally, or using Steam Link to click on a shortcut I pined to the task bar) it worked both locally and via Steam Link.
If I add the LegoBatman3_DX11.exe to my steam library as a non-steam exe and run it, Steam instead runs the default LegoBatman3.exe and promptly crashes.
