this app has controller mapping
Thanks!
The only problem that I found is that the left stick also moves the mouse, which confuses some games.
Have you tried going into the controller settings on the Steam Link and remapping the controller?
Has there been any fix? I have tried remapping but it still continues to move the mouse all over.
I have this exact issue as well, have tried multiple troubleshooting methods like updating both the controller and the steam link. Seem's crazy there hasn't been a fix for this.
This is built into the controller, which also acts as a mouse. As far as I know there's no way to turn it off.
Can this not be disabled in Steam in any way?
This controller plagued me for a bit, but it's more the fault of Steam and Windows than it is the controller's.
Windows updates caused the firmware on the controller to need to be updated. This must be done by plugging a USB into the port inside the battery compartment on the controller and updating through Steel Series Engine.
Steam Big Picture has a controller configurator that allows for a "Desktop Mode" for the controller. It causes the controller to behave like a mouse (a function these controllers can already do on their own; click both stick for a few seconds and again to disable) as well as binding each button to a different keyboard key. This CAN BE DISABLED. Sort of.
You must go to Steam Big Picture > Settings > Controller Category - Base Configurations > Desktop Configuration. This will open a Layout/Configuration Screen. You have two options here: 1) Manually unbind every single button, including the sticks. 2) Press the "Browse Configurations" Button (X) and find a profile that says "Disabled" and Import it.
This may not stick, so you might have to do it more than once, but once it sticks, it works and the controller behaves as an X-Input should. The only button that doesn't seem to work is the Home Button. Not a major deal, but I'm still looking into that one.
Hope this helps.
