Steam Link

Steam link steaming speakers no longer show in W10.
Before any person suggest factory reset steam link, download the drivers from GitHub install those, or reset PC I've did all that and still I'm unable to get Steam Streaming Speakers to show up in Windows. I don't recall uninstalling them. Also, the volume in steam link is extremely low even when I'm not connected to host PC.

Check your audio devices, if somehow they're installed but disabled.

They're not there at all. I've check everywhere device manager too. I've even installed those drivers from GitHub and they will not come back.

they said github with no link specified, I knew this one worked so I offered it up.

@OP ... if the right click .inf install method is not working, this how I got it to reinstall the streaming audio drivers one time a few years back:

open device manager and select 'Action' on the top bar;
then select 'Add legacy hardware' from the drop down menu;
click next for the two prompts until the device list appears;
select 'Have Disk' and then 'Browse';
navigate to the folder where the drivers are, select the .inf file and install, reboot may be necessary.
Okay I will try this method because right click method wasn't working for me.

This did work I'm going to go further and add images just for those that run into a similar issue in the future.

Step 1 Open device manager and select 'Action' on the top bar;
Step 2 Then select 'Add legacy hardware' from the drop down menu;

it seems they were removed from the steam client for some reason, possibly some sort of licensing issue. I did a clean reinstall of windows 10 and had to pull the drivers off my C drive backup. try this https://steamcommunity.com/app/353380/discussions/0/2994291378925914650/#c2994291378926095629
