Steam Link

ZM-X6 compatibility
I made a poor life choice and ordered a gamepad that claimed to be Android compatible. It is. Technically. I can turn the volume for notifications on my phone up and down, and I can change tracks when music is playing. But it claims to be compatible with a ton of games I don't really have an interest in playing? I basically just want to be able to play the games in my steam library from my computer at home while I'm out and about. As soon as a particular game I want to play finishes downloading, I'm going to see if I can get on screen controls to work a particular way, but I'd really like it if I could get the gamepad to work because I'm autistic and I feel better when I'm clicking actual buttons (it's a sensory thing).

Anyways, the model of the controller is "ZM-X6". Thankfully, it works great for the PC itself. I just can't get Steamlink to recognize it as a gamepad.

Sincerely,

A Mess Who's Trying Her Best

Can you see it in the app controller settings?

same here, and No it doesn't show up on the controller list in Settings. PC totally acknowledges its presence, Steam doesn't know it's there.

I'm using an X-Box controller now, y'all. It lights up to match my keyboard. 'Cos I'm a... uh... proper gamer girl now... or something?
