Oh, I forgot that the only open-source projects of Valve are OpenVR and Proton, and Proton doesn't even cound because it's a Wine fork and they had to open-source it.
I'd also love to run it on my Vero 4K (aarch64), but the executable bails out once it detects it's not being run on an RPI 3.
sudo dpkg -i libraspberrypi0_1.20181112-1_armhf.deb
trying to overwrite '/opt/vc/lib/libbcm_host.so', which is also in package rbp-userland-osmc
This will be in the next build, thanks!
In the meantime, you can edit .local/share/SteamLink/steamlinkdeps.txt and change the libraspberrypi0 line to:
libraspberrypi0:armhf | rbp-userland-osmc:armhf
next step is for me is to work on a launcher for OSMC :) 99% done with the code
is there a planned repository for this ?
You're welcome!
you gotta realize the limitation of the hardware
For this I'd think either using the dongle (buying another) or Bluetooth. Not gonna have a built in dongle like the Link does.
Since they are pushing Steam Link apps and such (hoping Steam Link appears on Roku and Amazon Fire TV) I assume they are confident that the Steam Controllers Bluetooth works as good as the dongle?
We also don't know yet if maybe possible 3rd parties will start to see Steam Links as well?
We shall see. :D
Screen comes up and says get started. Click on it and steamlink exits, no further messages.
