PCSX2 via steam link = non centered display when using 4:3
after a quick attempt to fix it on my own, and a quick google - i found this
https://steamcommunity.com/app/353380/discussions/0/1488861734104833559/#c1488861734108571055

evidently its been an issue since.... awhile?

Anyone have anything for me solution wise? Or a way to make sure the powers that be see this/way to report this to valve?

check the video plugin settings on pcsx2

set it to d3d11hardware (dx11)
custom scaling
1920x1080 (for 1080p)
4:3 games will still be 4:3, and 16:9 games will be wide

set pcsx2 to use desktop res, or 1920x1080 at full screen

or if using an nvidia gpu, set it to use gpu scaling
https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/536885/can-t-play-in-full-screen-without-native-resolution/
tick , aspect, and perform scaling on the gpu
then it will alwasy output 1920x1080 with the image centered and scaled to fill the screen

ill take a look. and it'll stil put out at native ps2 resolution (in the center/4:3?)?

and thanks. Steam used to do this properly, but stopped for reasons unbeknownst :P

just to be clear, it displays properly on my pc (4:3/centered) its on the steam link that it displays incorrectly with all the black on the right side and the entire 4:3 image shifted to the far left.

yea. turned on gpu scaling. still displays properly on pc - still moves entire image to the left on steam link.

inherent steam link issue @developers

changing the plugin to use DX11 from OGL was the fix :) No idea why it shifts it all the way left with OGL but /shrug.
