Steam needs to update audio driver?

Hi, I'm trying to use steam link as I usually do, and when I select my PC on steam link to start streaming a message pops up saying I need to update drivers (please check on your streaming PC), so I go to the PC and there is a pop-up to update the driver, all fine until here,

but I click on Install to update it and it just doesn't launch, no other pop-up, nothing.
Is there a way to update/install the drivers manually?

There's a parameter to pass to Steam if you want to skip that. Read it all, you're not alone.

I read it but where should I put the launchflag? like on steam?

On the shortcut, yes. e.g. Create one on your desktop, open its properties and add the flag to "destination":

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steam.exe" -flags

You could also opt-out of Beta if you don't need it right now (just saying).

You're using the beta version of the steam software. If you're not willing to deal with bugs you should just opt out of the beta, im sure it will work fine then.

The latest beta update, dated July 28 or newer, should fix this issue for you guys. Please let me know if you've rebooted your computer and it doesn't work!

Hey guys. I ve got this problem also but luckly i was fixed.
Here what i was do to fix this issue:
In steam link main manu ( not connected to computer ) i was go to options --> system.

1) I was change steamlink for BETA relase sustem. Steamlink was rebooted and installed. and start work correctly but its not finish - if you like an beta system u can leave it now if u like normal stable version go to next point. ( Try to start connection to computer and then when its working fine, reboot and go to next point)

2) i was again change for Public relase system. Steamlink was rebooted and installed. and start work correctly !!

I hope it was helpfull also for u guys. if its help give a note its working fine

yeah that ish dont work. the only work is opting out of beta on main pc, that works.

I have the july 31 update, and it's still broken.

here's what happens:
- reboot PC
- PC: start Steam
- Android: start link client
- Android: click 'Start Streaming'-> "Can't connect to <server>.\nStreaming requires additional driver installation..."
- PC: popup "Audio Driver Update", click 'install', popup closes.

then...
- Android: click 'Start Streaming'-> it connects!
- Android: click 'Stop Streaming'

then...
- Android: click 'Start Streaming'-> "Can't connect to <server>.\nStreaming requires additional driver installation..."


every other time, it asks for driver updates.
