Steam Link

Green Screen is back!
I fixed my personal greenscreen issue by putting both steam and the link on beta builds and it's been working fine for a few weeks now. However, I received a beta update for the client today and since then the greenscreen is back. I tried rolling both steam and the link back to public build, but it didn't solve the issue - which is weird, because you'd expect the official steam build to be compatible with the official link build. Tried a factory reset on the link and fresh updates as well, didn't do the trick for me. Just wanted to let you know that this is still a problem.

Big Picture works fine, by the way, it's only when I switch to desktop or start certain games that my TV turns all green with the slightly brigther green horizontal bar in the middle.

Can you post a picture and what video card and driver version you're using? If it's NVIDIA, you can find the driver version in the NVIDIA control panel under Help -> System Information

Can you also post a link to the Steam logs/streaming_log.txt?

Thanks!

I'm using a GeForce GTX 780M on driver version 376.33, here's a picture of my TV screen when streaming desktop http://imgur.com/a/mvvRQ and here's my streaming_log https://www.dropbox.com/s/x474g87rl0ixqtx/streaming_log.txt?dl=0

I recently had a "similar" green screen problem. Check my link here:

I disabled hardware encoding (in host pc) and re-installed my nvidia drivers (latest ones). From that time i didnt had green screen problem (i re enabled hw encoding yesterday but my bp mode crashed after a while so i disabled it again). I think latest nvidia drivers broke smth..

Did you try that trick?

I'm going to toss in my experience too:
I use a 290x (pair) for my host PC, I use beta Steam builds on host, and 566 for steam link.
Recently, I've gotten green flickering or solid over both big picture and anything it runs. The Steam Link home screen (when not streaming) is perfectly fine. On a side note, sometimes switching between pages of games 'fixes' it, sometimes it causes it to come back.

Just an update, one of the recent Steam-Updates (I doubt it was one of the nvidia gameready drivers) fixed it for me. Works fine now. Let me know, if I should post another streaming_log, in case you want to look into this any further.

I just got a green screen with an AMD gpu. I'm able to play Baulders Gate 3 and Satisfactory just fine. Not sure wh its green screening a game that's not that heavy duty. Drivers are all up to date. Any ideas??

Happens to me if I turn monitor of host PC off with power button then stream, if I let the monitor on host PC go to sleep the picture is fine.
