Can't get wired Xbox One controller to work

Bought a Steam Link today but I'm having trouble getting my wired Xbox One controllers to work through the Steam Link (they work fine if connected directly to the host PC).

The Steam Link UI and Big Picture UI show there's a controller present but both are completely unresponsive to any input from the controller (I had to connect a keyboard+mouse which work fine). I did notice that pressing the Guide button will wake up the Steam Link, but that's it.

I tried opting into the beta branch (build 600) but it made no difference. If I go into the new controller configuration screen it lists the controllers but still doesn't recognise any button presses.

Is there anything else I can try?

There might just be a chance that your controller might not be officially supported yet. I'm having the same issue with my Hyperkin X91 Xbox One controller.

I've found that the same issue has been raised against the 'xpad' Linux Kernel Driver and someone has contributed a possible fix.

Hopefully we just need to wait for the same fix to be applied to the Steam Link?
