Steam Controller

Steam Controller

Finding way to replace Xbox buttons with Playstation buttons(visually)
I am using playstation 5 joystick dualsense and for some reason when i use it in mortal kombat 11 using controller support(if i turn it off game wont work) i get to see xbox controller buttons in game i was searching on google and youtube on finding answers but every guide is from 2 years ago and in guides said that i need to turn off xbox configuration support found in general controller settings in big picture mode but problem is that i have updated version of steam so those settings are nowhere to be found if you could assist me through my problem it would be much appreciated.

The options are found at Steam > Settings > Controller (Xbox Configuration Support = Enable Steam Input for Xbox controllers).

When you use controller support via Steam, in the majority of cases, it'll be translating the inputs to XInput and the majority of games will believe it's an Xbox controller in use.

Looking at the PCGamingWiki for MK11 it has native support for the DualSense.
https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Mortal_Kombat_11#Input

They say
To get DS4 prompts, go to game properties on Steam and set "Steam Input Per-Game Setting" to "forced off" in the General-tab.

So right-click MK11 in Steam Library > Properties > Controller > select Disable Seam Input

If you get no control, test if wired works.

BTW the guides should be directing you to PS Configuration Support/'Enable Steam Input for Playstation controllers' rather than Xbox. The Xbox setting shouldn't affect things while using a PS controller.
