Interesting post was made here. Person mentioned that there was firmware update that supposedly fixed pairing and maintaining connection with Bluetooth 5 adapters.
Interesting if this info could be verified. My ProController bought years ago, and it has Firmware 3.49 (can be checked with tool such as - https://github.com/CTCaer/jc_toolkit/releases/tag/5.2.0)
I tried the UK ugreen link and did not have success. See image: https://i.imgur.com/XelBRaS.png
Is it possible to upload to google drive perhaps?
This is a driver link from Barrot themselves, they make the chip that is in the CM748:
http://en.barrot.com.cn/b/Downloads/97.html
Hoping that works. There are all sorts of other sites that say they have drivers, but, I don't trust them. I downloaded the .zip from Barrot and the instructions look identical to what I got from Ugreen. If the link and driver work you're golden!
My controller was brand new from Game this year, so, if there had been a firmware update, you'd think it would have had it,
Whatever, going the Bluetooth 5.4 route fixed it for me. I know I used the Ugreen CM748 and it worked for me, but, there may be other dongles that will work as long as they support Bluetooth 5.4.
All you can do is buy and try I guess....
The Bluetooth I'm using now is this one:

That's great! Which driver are you using? Could you just plug and play and use what Windows loads? The Amazon blurb seemed to point to you doing what I did and downloading the driver.
Could you please post a screenshot of what the dongle shows up as in Device Manager?
The search is case sensitive there, so gotta be upper case CM.
Not cm748 but CM748. I can't believe they coded their website without taking in both values (I'm a programmer and you can add an argument that ignores case sensitivity).
Thanks again.
Was yours just plug and play with window drivers or did you also install external drivers?
I wish you posted this link before I ordered from aliexpress. It's about the same price with shipping. $8 vs $12 except I have to wait 1-2 weeks for it to arrive.
Comparing the Barrot download and Ugreen download:

We can see the difference in the setup.exe, where barrots setup.exe is slightly newer and slightly bigger in size.
EVERYTHING ELSE IS IDENTICAL minus the .pdf - it seems ugreen took barrots pdf and used Adobe Acrobat Pro DC to modify it. They also added a Chinese language version.
I went through every single file in both zips and they are identical. I would use the barrot download in this case.

Also, here are the instructions for the USB Dongle: https://i.imgur.com/pH2WRUD.jpeg
If this is what you're asking for, here it is: https://imgur.com/a/k0vYcp4
Does your motherboard include Bluetooth and did you have to disable it such as the instructions I posted above your post?
Ah, yeah, the case thing, perhaps I should've made that clearer, I think I did in my full post. I did put CM in all my posts here. You got there anyway!
