8BitDo Ultimate 2C double input

Windows 10, using 2.4G dongle

If Steam is started first, and then the controller is turned on, it gives double inputs with each button press. If I look at the controller settings, it shows both 8BitDo Ultimate 2C Wireless Controller and XINPUT Controller #1.

But...

If the controller is turned on first and then Steam is started, the controller works correctly. It only lists 8BitDo Ultimate 2C Wireless Controller.

Same issue here, controller shows up twice in Steam controller settings and doubles my inputs

Hi. I just solved this problem for myself by switching ximput to dimput. If you are using a dongle just start a controler by holding B while powering it on. Hope this helps you as well.
