Logitech Gamepad F310 stopped working on Mac M1 since Steam client update

ISSUE
Logitech Gamepad F310 stopped working on Mac M1 since Steam's recent update (early Feb, 2023). After the update, at Steam Client launch the game controller stops working and changes its status to Not Controller in Mac OS System Settings. Updating to beta version of Steam doesn't solve the issue.
Exiting Steam Client and re-plugging the controller changes the status back to Connnected.
