Switch Pro Controller only works when holding down the Home Button
After reinstalling Steam, the Switch Pro Controller only started working when I hold down the home button. I don't know why this happened. Is this a bug or something that is suppose to happen? The controller I'm using is called "Metroid Pro Controller."

Did you enable Switch Controller configuration in the controller settings? It defaults to off so re-installing might have reset that setting.

I am also having this issue, specifically on a non-Steam game. The Switch Pro controller configuration option is enabled.

Did you add it to Steam as a non-Steam shortcut?

Yes. I am on the Linux Beta client.
