Each controller is supposed to come with a USB bluetooth adapter, and each adapter is able to handle up to 16 controllers at once.
Trucker and Elwood are right. NOT Bluetooth compatible and only 4 controller supported per dongle.
Can't see it otherwise. (Under Bluetooth devices)
doesn't need extender, though. Think wireless mouse (non-Bluetooth) with a free extender. Practical, not necessary.
Get a male to male MicroUSB to whatever-you-have cable and play wired, or get an adapter and go off of USB for wireless.
1 the dongle it come with ONLY supports steam controllers according to valve it is supposed to be super low latency and offer the best experience.
2 the controller does support bluetooth i have connected it to my laptop in such a manner it seems to work just as well as the dongle
3 when they designed this thing they should have made a spot on the controller to put the dongle and a case to put the controller in as a accessory would be nice
OP, don't bank on this working with standard BT. Tomiri's experience appears highly idiosyncratic at this point. Without further info and the ability to replicate his experience, this currently must be considered as an X-File. We'll see what Mulder & Scully can make of it. It could be aliens.
