Steam Link + Rocket League/Portal 2 offer extend to GameStop?

I was wondering whether the offer would be available to hardware purchased at GameStop, as well. I just called my local GameStop and asked, and the manager had no information on it. Since it seems to be a new thing, I'd assume GameStop as a company wouldn't have reacted to the addition as quickly as Steam has. Anyone have any info to share on this?
