Steam Controller

Steam Controller

Minecraft: "Keyboard"
Hi guys,

I added Minecraft to my Steam library and got every working fine - this means I am able to play Minecraft using my steam controller. But well I'd like to use the onscreen keyboard which comes with the steam controller but I don't know how to configure this.
I'd be nice of someone could help my out with this problem.

Greetings,

If Minecraft works with the overlay, the keyboard is already available and doesn't need to be configured. Either press the Steam button and select it from the overlay menu, or hold Steam and press Select to bring it straight up.

Hey, thx for your answer. The Steam overlay is working for me but the overlay via the Steam button not. :/

Make sure you've got the latest Steam beta, and that you're running Steam in Big Picture Mode as well. The controller's better supported that way, of course, but in particular the in-game keyboard is a BPM-only feature at the moment.

If that doesn't work, I'm out of ideas.

Are you running Minecraft from within Big Picture Mode? That's the only way to get the BPM overlay.
