VisualBoy Advance Emulator

I am trying to set the binding to the VisualBoy Advance Emulator. Bindings are representative to what I want, but the control scheme does not seem to work. I have successfully done this on the Nestopia emulator. Any help would be appreciated.

I use VBA-M with it and it works fine... Does the overlay work? You also need to actually start a game first or the overlay wont activate. The way BPM hooks into the render pipeline means it has to be rendering something for it to work.

I tried VBA-M. No luck, I am integrating this into steam using Ice. http://scottrice.github.io/Ice/
Because I'm not getting the Steam overlay, I think this might be causing my issue. If anyone has run into this and has a solution, much would be appreciated.

First off, Dont use ice and see if it works. If it does then the way Ice does it is what is doing it. Sorry, but there really isnt anything else you can do.
