For the game, this is a solved problem, as I can change the keybinding. The issue is setting up a controller config that will "just work" and provide all the same functions as someone using a mouse and keyboard. In addition, the Steam Controller works outside of games, and if someone wants to set one up to have desktop shortcuts, why stop them? Of course, it may be possible in that case with external software, but RWR is a real case where the Steam Controller is limited by a seemingly small software choice.
You're right, because a gamer would never want to screenshot a cool thing that happened in their game. Makes *TOTAL* sense.
Alt-Tab is used to alt-tab... <.<
Either way, tho', Super and Meta are system-use and really shouldn't be used as bindings in games.
EDIT: Sorry, I didnt want to come across as an ass, I just wanted to be a little funny. There was a time when we didnt have super keys at all and when windows happened and we still had a bunch of keyboards without them, we made due with what we had. :)
Do note, however, that the default desktop config is LBumper=Lctrl and >=ESC. In Win8.1 pressing CTRL+ESC does indeed brink up the tile screen, pressing LBumper+> doesn't.
EDIT: pressing LBumper and > at the same time does work, which is slightly different than the actual keyboard where you hold down CTRL and tap ESC. It would seem that whether you tap or hold a controller button it only registers a keypress and release...it doesn't hold the key down. Interesting! Now we know we can bring up the start window without having to bind the Windows key at any rate.
