Just get yourself some rechargable AAs, a 4 pack with a charger would be ideal, play with 2 while a freshly recharged set waits for those two to give out. Swap, and you've got 2 fresh batteries while the previous are recharging. Repeat as necessary.
I've got my rechargables ready to go once the included batteries give out.
xbox one has less of a battery life and uses AA's as well, and PS4 has a rechargable but a pathetic battery life. Then the pro u controller has an 80 hour rechargable, which is INSANE.
Either way, just picking up a pack of rechargeable ones should solve your issues :p
Thanks for the extra posts, awesome to hear that the batteries really last that long! Seems like I will be better off with standard batteries, since I don't use the controller every day.
And not many people are willing to observe battery life for a few months and come back to report, so obviously there are huge delays in useful responses.
