How do I turn the gyro off?
Was playing Portal 2 (the only game I've found that _truly_ supports the Steam Controller) and I noticed that if I just rest my thumb on the right pad and move the entire controller around, that I can aim that way. Apparently there's some kind of gyro in this thing too? How do I turn it off? It really screws with my aim.

Open big picture mode if you haven't already. Get yourself to the configuration screen. (If you don't know where that is, either go to the game in the library fin the "Manage game" and then "Configure Controllers". Or if you're playing it, hit the steam button and you should find it pretty quickly).
On the layout screen there's some box with "Move" or such in it. Between the two "handles" of the controller. Or above the box for the analogue stick and the ABXY buttons. Simply remove what is in that box and it should no longer use the gyro stuff.
launch titles in big picture mode for your custom layouts

when you're in game hit the steam button to enter the overlay, manage game, configure controller. Gyro is the tab under the controller on the UI.
