Easy Wilmote + nunchuk setup for PC plus Windows mouse and multimedia remote.
Hi all, I thought I'd share some cool information regarding getting the Nintendo Wiimote (I use the motion+ version) to control windows, recognize the nunchuk, classic controller AND them spiffy Nintendo Club classic controllers AND the Wii gamecube controllers too.

Wiimotehook + joy2key work incredibly well together. I play fps games like that lately with a config to alter mouse pointer position and centering to keep everything nice and controllable and I am using IR sensors from a light gun kit. Also makes PC lightgun games very fun :).

Ironing out some bugs and trying to make a startup script to automate the process and load my tweaks to the stock configuration (with the option to start or stop it from the gui more seemlessly) with a couple extra configs for stuff like the using the Numskull steering wheel, better button mapping for certain games and quality of life improvements.

Korg Gadget (PC) controls and midi commands can be done too. For wiimotes, the tracking is better than GlovePIE and only xinput commands set up in Joy2key register nunckuk and non IR/ commands eliminating conflicts (like, for example, conflicting inputs, between gamepad right stick, pc mouse and IR pointer which make the camera spaz out in game.) Also, VR mouse/gamepad hybrid controls (I am disabled and moving around in VR is not... good lol).

I will follow up here with a tutorial and links if people need a hand or want my current profiles to mess with. Until then, please express interest below. Also, until then, check out those two applications. I've only been at this for 6hrs total, so bare with me. And there may be some extra auto hotkey trickery too. Windows devices only AFAIK atm...

This is a great, fun little setup as an alternative to traditional control methods. Works amazing. GZDoom is too much fun.

Bye for now.
