When you go to Add/Test controller there is a customization option. Oh, but you might need to be opted into Steam client beta to do this. There is a sound for turning the SC on, and a sound for turning the SC off. You can pick a sound from the list they currently have.

the actuators are just like floppy drives, in that open n closing can lead to sounds.
